Can you introduce yourself and your role within EEZZ?
Hi, my name is Pelle and I have been involved with EEZZ from day one. I work as a technical assistant. This means that I help with renovations, technical jobs and small maintenance to the office building. Furthermore, I do various odd jobs that require physical effort related to the maintenance and management of private property and EEZZ property.
What does your job entail and what is an essential skill that someone in your role needs?
My work is super varied and offers new challenges. That is why it is important to be self-directed and willing to work hard. After all, the work is not finished until it is finished, NOT when it is 5 pm. You need perseverance and flexibility if you want to do this work. If something doesn't go the way you expect, you have to be able to adapt!
Do you have a favorite motto?
An important motto for me is “Do your job well or don't do it.”
What is the best part about working at EEZZ for you?
I did my havo education first and then a college degree; Civil Engineering. I like to be physically active and am currently working as an engineer at Royal HaskoningDHV. In addition, however, I am still a helping hand for EEZZ. The team at EEZZ has always supported me in all my ventures and the work always gave me satisfaction and pleasure; hence, I still like to drop by when needed!
