Holiday park De Wiltzangh – Staying at the edge of nature
Between the woods and heaths of Dwingelderveld National Park, in the atmospheric village of Ruinen in Drenthe, lies Holiday Park De Wiltzangh. A quiet, green oasis where you can effortlessly leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. Here you can experience true outdoor life, without compromising on comfort and convenience.
Unique location in the heart of Drenthe
The park borders directly on National Park Dwingelderveld, the largest interconnected wet heathland area in Western Europe. You step straight into nature from your accommodation. Walking and cycling routes literally start at your doorstep. Whether you choose a short morning walk or a brisk bike ride past megalithic tombs, fens and flocks of sheep: every day is different and breathtakingly beautiful.
Accommodations for every holiday wish
Vakantiepark De Wiltzangh offers a wide range of accommodation, suitable for couples, families and larger groups. Choose from attractive lodges, modern chalets or spacious family houses. All accommodation is carefully furnished and fully equipped. Think comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchens, private terraces and – in many cases – views of greenery. Guests with young children or pets have also been considered: child-friendly and pet-friendly options are available.
Park facilities
There is more than enough to do on the park itself. On warm days, take a dip in the heated outdoor pool with paddling pool. For children, there are several playgrounds, a football pitch, table tennis tables and a mini-golf course. There is also bicycle and e-chopper rental, so you can easily explore the area. In high season, activities are organised for young and old.
Sustainable and natural
De Wiltzangh stands for green in the broadest sense of the word. The park has a small-scale and natural character, with great attention to sustainability. The buildings blend into the landscape, the site is spacious and energy and waste are handled with awareness. No large-scale mass tourism here, but tranquillity, space and a warm welcome.
