Het Heerhuys is a beautiful 1930s holiday home on the grounds of Natuur Vakantie Bonte Haan, specially designed for groups of up to 8 people who want to enjoy peace, nature and authentic charm. This completely renovated accommodation exudes atmosphere: from the original layout to the warm décor and the characteristic details that recur throughout.

Inside, you step into a spacious kitchen with robust marl walls, a wood-burning stove and large French doors leading to the garden. It is the kind of kitchen where you cook together, linger at the table and end the day by the crackling fire. Next to it is a cosy sitting room furnished with authentic Chesterfield armchairs — a place that invites you to spend relaxing evenings, good conversations and a glass of wine.

Het Heerhuys has four bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and a beautiful view of the Limburg countryside. This means that everyone has their own comfortable place, ideal for families, groups of friends or couples who travel together but still value their privacy.

For those who want to work, play or retreat, there is a separate work and play room, filled with board games and books. A great space for children, but just as good for adults who want to read or work in peace.

Outside, there is a large, green garden with a canopy, perfect for long evenings outdoors. The absolute highlight is the wood-fired hot tub, where you can relax under the starry sky while listening to the birds singing, the chickens in the yard, the neighbours’ cows and the occasional tractor passing by. It is pure, rural and wonderfully relaxed.
